These that I will write are only a little part of representation of the life moments, and are only some of the many intense activities the crew carried out on the upper deck of this vessel.
We do not have to forget that there are also a tide of intense activities executed from the crew on the upper deck and there are many other periodically maintenance, and, during the winter, the maintenance that to the occurrence, thanks and with cure of the men in the Marine Military Arsenal to La Spezia.
I have never had the honor of being boarded for along period on the school ship Amerigo Vespucci. I’m not enlisted in Military Navy, therefore I creed that you will pardon to me if in creating this page I will make some error or I will not be much precise one.
My personal experience, if we can define thus it, is limited to a single day of navigation (read the page “To live a dream”). This has been sure an exceptional fact and, clearly, I’m not being complained, indeed! It has been a great pleasure and it was an immense honor for me.
With this phrase I want to only say that… they are not sure a seaman! And I cannot say to know the life and the intense activities of who are embarked on this vessel (and the other similar ships)!
In any case, in the year 2006, sailing in the morning and re-entering in the late afternoon, I have been able to try to understand better and, a little, more of the life on this ship and above all to try the moving experience to find itself under those immense sails, and I assure to you that he has been unforgettable!
